Things to Wonder...

Here are some things to question, ponder and think about, or at least that's what I do.

Questions to be Answered...

  • Why do tourists go to the top of tall buildings and put money into telescopes to see things on the ground?
  • Why is Greenland icy and Iceland green?
  • We have the speed of light but what is the speed of dark?
  • Why do black olives come in a can and green olives come in a jar?
  • How do the random shoes that you find on the road get there?
  • What do sheep count to fall asleep? People?
  • Why do hot dogs come in a package of 10 but when you buy buns there are only 8?
  • There's 7-up but what happened to the first 6-ups
  • In the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty, where does it say that He is an Egg?
  • Why is the word short longer than the word long?
  • If Jimmy cracks corn and no one cares then why sing a song about it?
  • Who discovered milk from a cow?  I mean who thought "I wonder what comes out of those dangly things when they are squeezed?" and then proceeded to drink what did come out?
  • If the number 2 pencil is so popular then why is it not called number 1?
  • Why do doctors call what they do a practice?
  • Why there are automatic soap dispensers.  They are suppose to be there to prevent contact with germs on the soap but isn't the whole idea of getting soap to then proceed to wash the germs away anyway?
  • Why do we call a person we invest our money into a broker?
  • Why do you call something transfered by car a shipment but something transfered by boat a cargo?
  • Why isn't there mouse flavored cat food?
  • Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?
  • Why are there words like "lead" and "lead" and "resume" and "resume"?  They have the EXACT same spelling but completely DIFFERENT annunciations and meanings?  Couldn't they find a different word for the different meanings?
